My Maternity Must Haves
Wednesday, December 11, 2013
Here I am in my third trimester and looking back over the last several months I can say that there have been a few things during my pregnancy that I hands down can't live without. Although it's fun to dress up the bump in body hugging dresses, skinny jeans and cute form fitting tops you will find me most days in my comfy sweats or yoga wear. I am very thankful that I have felt great throughout my pregnancy and I have been able to keep up with my fitness routine (at a much more moderate level) and continue to teach pilates. Eleven more weeks (give or take) to go!
Check out my top 6 Maternity Must-Haves Below!

Bump Nest Pillow: I purchased this almost in the very beginning and it has been a lifesavor. Not to mention I love the adorable zig zag print I chose. I have a feeling I will continue to use it after baby comes too.
Zoe Organics Belly Oil: I love that this belly oil is 100% natural and absorbs instantly into my skin. This has been a saving grace for my skin and I'm proud to say that I have no stretch marks...yet! You can see my full review on Babble.com.
Old Navy Sweatshirt: This sweatshirt is so soft and cozy. I sized up a size to make room for the growing bump and I live in it. I had to refrain myself from buying more than one.

J Brand Maternity Jeans: I knew that I wanted one really nice pair of skinny jeans that I could wear throughout my pregnancy. I love these jeans because they look and feel exactly like my regular JBrands, but they have added a little elastic on each hip (in the front side pockets) rather than the full belly band. They have a JBrand factory outlet in LA and I was able to score a pair for half price, but I would hands down pay full price if I had to. They keep their shape, are stylish, and most importantly are so comfy.
Pilates: I am a pilates instructor so naturally, I have been continuing my pilates workouts throughout my pregnancy as well as taking several private prenatal pilates sessions with my pilates mentor. I recently discovered Knocked-Up Fitness which is a pilates infused at home workout and I think this is a great way to stay on top of your fitness routine pre and post baby!
Splendid Essential Bralette: Pregnancy is all about comfort as I am sure post pregnancy will be too. I am loving this bralette by Splendid. I can wear it pretty much under anything and it feels like a comfortable sports bra, but it's adorable! I think it will be great for breast feeding too as there are no clips or hooks to hassle with.
